This was a complete labour, plant and materials project and the first contract that we carried out for Felton Construction.

We demolished the existing front elevation and rebuilt using a mixture of the original facing bricks and some matching facing bricks with partial fill cavity insulation and blockwork inner leaf.. We installed a masonry support system to the large opening to the front elevation.

We built the decorative panel to the front elevation using glazed bricks in stack bond and black mortar with bed joint reinforcement every other course.

We built all the internal block partitions and lift shaft.

We built the link to the social learning area using facing bricks, partial fill cavity insulation and block inner leaf with pre-cast concrete copings to the cavity walls.

We also carried out several alterations by cutting out openings, installing lintels and blocking up openings.
